How long will I be away from work after knee replacement surgery?

It totally depends on the type of work. If you have a sedentary job, once you feel strong enough, you are likely to return. If your job requires you to stay on your feet for extended periods of time, however, you may be off for 6-8 weeks. Your doctor will also advise you to follow medications after returning to work.
