Winters mean getting cozy in bed with a hot cup of coffee but they also mean extremely dry and rough hair. Come winter, we should religiously moisturize our hair once in a week to maintain smooth, shiny and healthy hair. For this, why should you spend money on chemicals when you can make at-home deep conditioners in your kitchen? No money spent, these recipes will only take a few minutes of your time. Try the following 3 deep conditioner recipes to achieve celebrity-like beautiful hair.

Conditioner #1: Olive oil + Honey

This is a tried and tested approach to healthier hair. Olive oil is known to be one of the best moisturizers as well as honey. Mix the same amount of honey and olive oil in a bowl and apply to mixture hair. Preferably cover your hair with a shower cap, apply heat via a hair dryer (avoid burning the shower cap), rinse and enjoy the difference in the hair quality.

Conditioner #2: Banana  + Honey + Mayo + Coconut Milk + Avocado (Nashpati)

All the above mentioned ingredients are super duper moisturizing. The special white sauce, mayo, helps give your hair that extra shine and even softness. Combine an avocado, a bit of honey, half a banana and coconut milk just enough to blend all these awesome ingredients. Now, blend all these things till it turns into a smooth paste like mix. Apply this to your hair and cover it with a shower cap. Continue to heat it for about 15-20 minutes after which you can rinse it out with cool water (this will make sure the moisture locks in your hair). Properly rinse your hair and you're done!

Conditioner #3: Egg + Coconut oil

One of India's favourite moisturizing oil, coconut oil can be used on the entire body + cooking! Coconut hair not only makes the hair shiny, it also strengthens the hair. Take the desired coconut oil amount, melt it (in the microwave or over the heat) and add an entire egg in it. Mix well. After this, apply this mixture to your hair and cover it with a shower cap. Repeat the same procedure, heat and wash the mixture. Have you tried any of the above deep conditioning methods?
