Calf raises can also help; stand on your toes and slowly lower yourself back down. Using a resistance band to stretch and strengthen your ankles is another good option. You can also practice balancing exercises, like standing on one foot for a few seconds. If you’ve recently injured your ankle, talk to a physiotherapist before trying these exercises to avoid further damage.
