Dr. Amitava Ray

Dr. Amitava Ray is a Senior Consultant - Neurosurgery at Apollo Health City, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Dr. Ray has completed MBBS from Calcutta Medical College in 1992, FRCS in 1996 and specialty training in Neurosurgery in 2003. Due to his commitment to his field, he went on to do Pediatric Neurosurgical Fellowship from Hospital for Sick children, Toronto, in 2004. He also served as Specialist Register in Neurosurgery South Wales Rotation, U.K. and a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Royal Liverpool Hospitals, U.K

Dr. Ray has over 30 peers reviewed publications and several International prizes including ‘Young Investigator of the year – 2004’, Canada. His areas of expertise are Pediatric Neurosurgery, Basic Science Research in Neuroscience and Neuro Oncology.
