Dr. Ashwani Chopra

Director and Consultant of Gastroenterology at Aashlok Hospital Fortis Associate, New Delhi, Dr. Ashwani Chopra holds and MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and an MD from LNJP and GB Pant Hospitals, New Delhi. With a medical practice of more than 30 years, Dr. Chopra went to the United Kingdom for specialization where he worked as Registrar in Chasefarm Hospital and the Royal Post Graduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital both in London. He is also an Honorary Consultant of Gastroenterology at Cromwell and Hammersmith Hospital, UK, and also at Miami School of Medicine, USA. He is also the one who launched Aashlok Hospital, the first private modern multi disciplinary hospital, New Delhi in 1984. Dr. Ashwani Chopra also happens to be a Reiki Master and Pranic Healer with a working knowledge of Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Yoga therapy. Dr. Chopra is a member of various National and International Societies of Medicine, Gastroenterology and Liver disease and continues to participate and contribute in their conferences and activities. Dr. Chopra has thus contributed a wholesome amount to the Indian medical system.
