In December of last year, my mother's ankle suffered a fracture. Our primary issue was whether to proceed with ankle fusion if it did not fully heal. Dr. B S Murthy patiently listened to the entire history, clarified the problems with the fusion, asked the patient to continue with a few exercises, and acknowledged that it might take longer to heal.
