Dr. Balamurali Krishnan is a Consultant - Orthopedics in Columbia Asia Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Balamurali Krishnan is a renowned Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon, he completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Bellary in 1991, and later went on to obtain specialization in Orthopaedics from Karnataka Medical College, Karnataka in 1996. To further gain extensive knowledge and enhance his skill set, he moved to the United Kingdom to pursue M.R.C.S. from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2003, and MCh (Orth) from the University of Dundee in 2008. He also underwent Fellowship program in Joint Replacement Surgery from St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, and Fellowship in Lower Limb Arthroplasty from the University of Dundee.

In the career span of 26 years, Dr. Balamurali has gained expertise in young adult hip and knee arthroplasty. He has a vast experience in working at several renowned hospitals not only in India but also in the United Kingdom. He has authored several presentations and projects which have been presented at well-known conferences and Dr. Balamurali has also been honored with invitations to deliver lectures at various events.
