Dr. Deepu Banerji

A Senior Consultant and Director at the Department of Neurosurgery, Dr. Deepu Banerji has over 30 years of experience. After completing his basic studies in India, he went on to become a 'Sugita Fellow' from Nagoya University, Japan for micro neuro-surgical training. He has worked in some prestigious Institute like NIMHNANS Bangalore and SGPGIMS Lucknow. With his expertise in microscopic and minimally invasive neurosurgery, Dr. Deepu has established a neurosurgery center under the auspices of FIENS (Foundation in International Education in International Surgery) at the National Neurosciences Centre, Kolkata. His main areas of interest lie in endoscopic pituitary and skull base surgery, treatment of brain tumors and spine surgeries. Dr. Deepu Banerji has treated several patients suffering from neurological diseases in India and gives every patient the best of medical care. Dr. Deepu Banerji has published several papers in India and abroad and is a member of prestigious medical associations.
