Dr. Gourdas Choudhuri

The Director and HOD of the department of Gastroenterology & Hepatobiliary Sciences at Fortis Hospital Gurgaon, Dr. Gourdas Choudhuri has over 34 years of rich professional experience in his field. He has done his MBBS from JIPMER, Pondicherry, MD (Medicine) in 1982 & DM (Gastroenterology) in 1984 from AIIMS. Dr. Gourdas Choudhuri is a member of several clubs including the American College of Gastroenterology, Indian College of Physicians, and Academy of Medical Sciences. He is also a Fellow of many prestigious bodies, including the Indian College of Physicians (FICP), the Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS), and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI). Over the years, Dr. Choudhuri has gained a great recognition in his field and received several awards acknowledging his contribution.

Dr. Gourdas Choudhuri was also a faculty member for 25 years at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Before joining Fortis Hospital Gurgaon, Dr. Choudhuri was Vice Chairman, Institute of Digestive & Hepatobiliary Sciences, at Medanta, The Medicity, Gurgaon.
