Dr Kalyani Karkare is a Consultant in the Department of Neurology. She has over 10 years of experience in his field. Her areas of interests include diagnosis, management and treatment of epilepsy and sleep disorders, peripheral nerves and spinal cord disorders, movement disorders, migraine, brain disorders, cluster headaches, stroke, epilepsy, among others. Her expertise also includes epileptology and neurophysiology, especially EEG. Dr Kalyani Karkare holds an MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Aurangabad, and DM in Neurology from NIMHANS, Bangalore and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Electroencephalography from Shri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. She also completed her Observorship in Neurophysiology from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Miami, USA.
