Dr. Praveen Gupta

Dr Praveen Gupta is the Director & Unit Head for the Department of Neurology at Fortis Hospital Gurgaon. He has over 14 years of rich experience in the field of neurology. He completed MBBS from the University of Nagpur in 1998. Dr Praveen Gupta has established first stroke center in Gurgaon and was the first to use Solitaire for mechanical thrombolysis. He also started DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) in Gurgaon and DBS for epilepsy in Asia.

Before practicing at Fortis Hospital in Gurgaon, Dr Praveen Gupta had established his career by setting up Neurology Department in corporate hospitals like Paras and Artemis Hospital Gurgaon. His area of expertise lies in stroke intervention, stroke rehabilitation, cerebral palsy, advanced second line management for multiple sclerosis, epileptic surgery and DBS surgery for PD patients. Dr Praveen Gupta has treated several patients suffering from neurological diseases in India and gives every patient the best of medical care.
