Dr. Smita Mishra is a HOD and Consultant - Pediatric Cardiologist with years of experience in his profession. She is currently working with Manipal Hospital as a HOD and Consultant at the Department of Pediatric Cardiology. She completed her MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from SS Medical College, Rewa. Then she completed her FNB Pediatrics Cardiology from Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi in 2004.

Her wide area of expertise includes Pediatric Cardiology- Noninvasive imaging, Fetal Echocardiography, Transthoracic Echocardiography, Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography, 3D Echocardiography, Pediatric Cardiology- Intervention, ASD device closure, VSD device closure, PDA device closure, Valvuloplasties (Pulmonary, Aortic valvotomy), and Coarct ballooning and stenting.

Before joining Manipal Hospital, she was available at Jaypee Hospital, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida. She has handled many patients suffering from cardiac disease. Dr. Smita is a member of many federations such as the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Pediatric cardiology society of India, Neonatology Forum India, and Indian Fetal society.
