Dr. Subrata Lahiri

Dr. Subrata Lahiri is a Senior Consultant of Cardiology at the Delhi Heart and Lung Institute, New Delhi. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the Kolkata University, a MD in Medicine from PGIMS, Rohtak Haryana, and a DNB in Cardiology from the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi under National Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Lahiri is also a member of the National Academy of Medical Services, and a member of the Cardiology Society of India. In his experience of about 17 years in interventional cardiology, Dr. Lahiri has performed more than 2000 coronary angioplasties. He is a special pioneer of performing angiography and angioplasty from the arm (radial route) which facilitates early recovery of patients. A versatile in his field, Dr. Lahiri is an expert in pacemaker implantation, ICD implantation, arrhythmia management, carotid angioplasties, and renal angioplasties. He has authored various papers in national medical journals and is also an eminent speaker with participation in national and international cardiology conferences.
