Dr Sudish Karunakaran MS is the HOD and Senior Consultant of the Department of Neurosurgery, Neurovascular Surgery and Paediatric Neurosurgery. He has been in the field of Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Paediatric Neurosurgery since 20 years and has established a credible reputation in his field. He also acquires ample national and international experience and skills in managing and treating complex Spine & Brain Disordes.

His qualifications include MBBS, MS and MCh- Neurosurgery. He acquired a fellowship of Neurovascular Surgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthpuram and a fellowship of Neurosurgery from Royal College of Surgeons, UK. He also has a fellowship of Paediatric Neurosurgery from Bristol. Dr Sudish Karunakaran has previously worked with Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, UK as a Consultant Neurologist (2005-2007) and Medical Trust Hospital, Kochi as the HOD and Senior Consultant of the Department of Neurosurgery (2008-2018).
