Dr. Swarnendu Samanta

Dr. Swarnendu Samanta is a Consultant in the Orthopedics at Peerless Hospital, Kolkata. With an experience of 20 years and special interest in sports injuries and arthroscopy, management of pelviacetabular fractures and joint reconstructive procedures; Dr. Swarnendu Samanta completed his specialty in Orthopedics from SCB Medical College, Cuttack in 1993. A member of many respectable orthopedic associations, he has also been a significant member of many national and international conferences. A faculty member at various training courses across the country and abroad, Dr. Swarnendu Samanta has also completed numerous fellowships. Some of these are: Fellowship in Sports medicine and Arthroscopy at Kerlan&JobeOrthopaedic Centre—Los Angeles, USA, Shoulder Arthroscopy Fellowship at San Antonio Orthopedic Group-Texas, USA under Dr. Stephen S. Burkhart.
