This type of surgery is also one to two hour-long after which the incision is sutured and the patient is taken to a recovery room.

• In Laparoscopic Surgery: Patients are often able to go home the next day of their surgery after some time of rest. A night’s rest at the hospital is recommended by the doctors for observation. • In Open Surgery: Usually, doctors ask the patients to spend two to three days in the hospital for healthy recovery. And, once at home, the patient can resume their daily chores after four to six weeks of complete rest.
